Honduras to expand shrimp farming

Honduras's shrimp industry has begun to implement a project aimed at expanding harvesting areas.

From December 2013 to July this year, the number of hectares for shrimp harvesting raised from 18,200 to 19,120, said Víctor Wilson, president of the Honduran association of aquaculture.

The expansion is due to an increased demand in international markets.
