Honduras to have new smart city

Honduras's Grupo Karims inaugurated the construction of a new smart city in Tegucigalpa, after a similar successful project in San Pedro Sula.

Attending the event were local and foreign business leaders ad investors, as well as Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández.

The Altia Smart City, valued at $100 million, includes a technology and business park, a shopping area, a medical center and office spance, and is expected to be open in 10 months.
