Honduras to open office in China despite diplomatic relations with Taiwan

Honduras will open an interests office in China despite continuing to maintain relations with Taiwan, as do all Central American countries except Costa Rica.

 

Currently Honduras has trade with China through Panama.

 

The deputy trade minister, Arlen Rivera, reported that the 2011 budget includes investment in the office in China.
