Honduras to renovate hydro plants with IDB loan

The Inter-American Development Bank announced the approval of a $23 million loan to help Honduras finance the overhaul of the Cañaveral-Rio Lindo hydroelectric plants.

The project will increase the complex's capacity to recover and conserve power from renewable energy for at least 30 years.
