Honduras unveils plan to beat a world crisis

Amid warnings by the International Monetary Fund of a possible world economic recession, the government of Honduras announced plans for an anti-crisis plan.
The aim is to create public-sector investment at times when the private sector is unable to fulfill its plans.
The government is particularly interested in boosting the construction industry in view of $490 million in funds that are unused for projects. Social spending could also be boosted to $1.6 billion.
