Honduras will sell gourmet chocolate to Europe

Top quality cocoa has been grown increasingly in Central America with a view to sales for Europe's gourmet chocolate industry.

Now, however, a chocolate factory in Copán, Honduras has been opened by president Juan Orlando Hernández with the aim of selling gourmet chocolate to Europe. It is being backed by the World Bank and aims to export to Holland, France and Chile.

The XOL brand will produce 18 varieties of "world-class gourmet chocolate."
