Hondutel needs to be helped amid severe financial crisis but no signs of government rescue
Hondutel, the state telecommunications company of Honduras, faces a severe economic crisis that could necessitate a rescue by the government.
The problems began when the market in telecommunications was opened at the end of 2005. Previously, Hondutel was a monopoly.
