Hotel construction in Costa Rica grew three times as much last year to $600 million

Hotel construction in Costa Rica grew triple fold last year, compared to 2010.
The estimated investment, in 10 hotels, is over $600 million. Some of the hotels which will open are Riu, Sol Meliá, Hyatt and Holiday Inn.
Most of the hotels are under construction, and are expected to open towards the end of this year and 2013.
