HP files trademark for PalmPad as family of devices registered in Costa Rica

HP may have chosen the moniker PalmPad as the next name for its forthcoming WebOS family of devices if a recent trademark filing is to be believed.
The domain name PalmPad has already been registered to a "palm pad online services" in Costa Rica since April 2001 and won't expire till April 2012.
The trademark filing shows that HP intends to use the name for a wide range of devices..
