Hugo Chávez to meet in Panama with Martinelli for possible talks on Petrocaribe

The Venezuelan president, Hugo Chávez, will make an official visit to Panama shortly for talks on several accords, including the possibility of Panama in the Petrocaribe initiative.

 

Ricardo Martinelli, the Panamanian president, will include discussions on Petrocaribe during the visit.

 

Other issues to be discussed by the leaders include other energy plans, cultural accords and Venezuela’s access to the Colón Free Zone.
