Hyatt announces two new hotels for Panama City

Hyatt Hotels announced plans for a 168-room Hyatt Place and a 120-room Hyatt House in the Costa del Este development in Panama City, Panama.

Construction will begin later this year; both properties are expected to open in early 2015, and the hotels will join the Hyatt Place Panama City, opening later this year.

"We believe there is significant potential to grow this extended-stay brand throughout the region," said Pat McCudden, Hyatt's senior vice president, real estate and development, Latin America and the Caribbean.
