IBM subsidiary GBM to invest about $70 million in data center for Guatemala

GBM, a subsidiary of technology company IBM, will launch the construction of a data center in Guatemala in March.
GBM will invest about $70 million in the project, according to Guatemala's minister of economy, Sergio de la Torre.
The project will create not only information-technology jobs but several in construction, as well as indirect employment, said de la Torre.
