IBM to invest $300 million in Costa Rican operations

The company has already hired new staff, about 1,000 will be needed by 2014.

The company is establishing a new center to provide support for its customers in the US and Europe. Together with the center, IBM is investing $300 million in Costa Rica over the next 10 years.
