Ibope Time Panama reports surge in advertising spend
Panama’s advertising market is growing rapidly.
According to a report from Ibope Time Panama, through August of this year, advertising spend came to $284.6 million, a 14.5 percent increase on the same period of last year.
Over the same period, the spend came to $210.1 million; in 2007 it was $202.8 million, and in 2006 it was $173 million.
Advertising on television lead this year’s figures with $194.6 million of the total, a $34 million increase over a year earlier.
