ICTSI to invest $150 million in Puerto Cortés

Friday, August 23, 2013

International Container Terminal Services, ICTSI, has set aside $150 million to develop its Puerto Cortés terminal in Honduras over the next five years.

In February, ICTSI, headquartered in the Philippines, was awarded a 30-year contract for design, financing, construction, maintenance, and operation of the Puerto Cortés facility.

“Over the long term, we’re actually quite excited with the prospects of Honduras and its neighboring countries,” ICTSI treasurer Rafael Consing said.
