IMF checks out the economy of Honduras

A mission of the International Monetary Fund is to meet with the economic authorities of Honduras with a new to having a new accord with the country.

A few days ago, William Cerrato, the governor of the central bank, told journalists that "the government's priority is to keep a tight rein on on the economy so as to make sure that it is sustainable and able to meet the requirements of society".

In April, the Fund said that is mission then had found that the economy was doing "better than expected."
