IMF says Honduras is in good shape; business leaders do not agree

A visiting International Monetary Fund mission backed the government of Honduras, declaring that the economic plan for the country will form a sound basis to promote economic growth and wellbeing.
The private sector, however, has a different view. "The Fund's evaluation is pretty optimistic; in fact it appears to quite disconnected from the reality of what is happening here," business leader Juan Carlos Sikaffy, told El Heraldo in Spanish.
