IMF to analyze Central America's economy

The International Monetary Fund began a two-day annual forum to analyze Central America's economic situation.

The event will also look at the challenges the region faces in the future.

"With weak forecasts for the global economy, growth in Central America must stem from more investment and reforms which promote productivity," said Fund managing director David Lipton.
