In Panama, a new giant emerges in tourism of conventions

The Amador Conventions Center, now under construction in Panama with a $200  million contract, should be due for completion by the end of this year, the builders say.

Amador will be able to accommodate 25,000 people, so enlarging Panama's capacity for conventions, which earn the country some $700 million a year.
