INCAE MBA is second best in Latin America

Wednesday, May 23, 2012

The publication last year of 53 ISI papers, and the signing of agreements with the University of St. Gallen and UCLA, are among the factors, which resulted in the INCAE Business School finishing in a second-place tie, in the 2012 list of Latin American MBA programs, published last week by America Economia magazine.

Moving up one position, compared to last year’s ranking, INCAE is tied with the master's program of the Autonomous Technological Institute of Mexico in Monterrey.

For the second consecutive year , the leader of the Americas is the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez of Chile, thanks to an extensive research program, as well several upgrades to the faculty.

The ranking is based on academic aspects, dissemination of knowledge, internationalization of the program, and a network of students and alumni, which enhances the local business environment.

  1. Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile)
  2. INCAE (Costa Rica / Nicaragua)
  3. ITAM (Mexico) (tie)
  4. EGADE (Mexico)
  5. Getulio Vargas Foundation (Brazil)
  6. UNIANDES (Colombia)
