India loses out to Guatemala in cardamom war being waged in the Gulf

India is losing out to Guatemala in a spice war being waged in the Gulf.

Guatemala has regained its market share in the Gulf nudging India out. The Gulf region is the world’s biggest market for cardamom.

Recently, Guatemala sold cardamom for $5 less than India, bringing India’s exports down.
