Industrialists aim to form regional economic bloc

Industry leaders in Central America say that the only way to boost their economic power is if they take part in international markets as a united bloc.

That was the conclusion of the second day in the Central American Industry Summit, convened by Fecaica, the regional federation of industrial chambers.

Central American governments have failed to fully establish the rule of law and corruption is rampant, the industrialists say.
