Innovation would boost Costa Rican exports

Costa Rican business should be more innovative by adding value to their offer in order to boost exports, Costa Rican daily La República reported.

While the country's exporting sector aims to end the year with up to 7 percent growth, many companies still face innovation issues, which could be solved by adding value to their products.

Alimentos Kamuk has successfully applied this strategy, and now exports table sauces to the UK, Germany, France, Czech Republic and Sweden, after adapting its products' ingredients to each market.
