Insurance policies in Central America grow 7 percent

The number of insurance policies in Central America grew 7.4 percent up to Juno this year, compared to the same period last year.
At the end of June, the region's insurance system reported $1.38 billion worth of policies, compared to $1.28 billion form the same period last year.
Costa Rica's Instituto Nacional de Seguros is number one in the region, followed by Seguros El Roble and Seguros G&T, both Guatemalan.
