Intel boosts purchases from Costa Rican suppliers

Technology firm Intel is increasing its purchases of supplies from Costa Rican companies, reaching $62 million in 2011.
The money represents a year-on-year growth rate of 17 percent, from the 105 Costa Rican suppliers.
Intel has operated in Costa Rica for 16 years, and each year exports products worth $2 billion, or 20 percent of Costa Rica's total exports in one year.
