Intel opens new $8 million engineering development center in Costa Rica

Intel, the world’s leading maker of micro-processors opened a new engineering development center in Costa Rica. The US multinational has invested $8 million in the center that will create 300 engineering and technician jobs in Belén, minutes from the San José airport.

The center is responsible for designing, developing, testing and validation of software and hardware that will have applications in fields such as medicine, science and entertainment.
