Inter-American Bank approves $45 million loan to improve urban transport in El Salvador

The Inter-American Develeopment Bank approved a $45 million loan for the modernization of public transport in the metropolitian area of San Salvador.

The program includes the design, construction and implementation of an integrated transport scheme with an emphasis on high-capacity buses.

Modernization of the public transport of the capital of El Salvador has long been a recommendation of international organizations.
