Inter-American Development Bank lends $180 million to Honduras. $100 million included for natural disasters

The Inter-American Development Bank announced that it will grant three loans to Honduras for a total of $180 million in order to strengthen response to natural disasters and for the pensions and finance sectors.

A credit for $100 million will be used by the government for extraordinary expenses incurred by hurricanes, earthquakes and floods.

Of the total $70 million are to be repaid over 30 years with a five-year period of grace.
