The Honduran authorities expect that the International Monetary fund will reach an accord that can ease the country’s difficulties.
The accord is expected to be worth some $300 million.
“The board of the Fund will meet on July 12 so as to analyze the country’s macroeconomic problems in view of an accord,” said William Chong, the finance minister.
