International Monetary Fund urges Central America to improve business climate

Central America needs to improve its business climate and seek more private investment in order to boost production, said the International Monetary Fund.

The challenge of Panama, by contrast, is different. Panama’s economic development traps world trade, not the remittances and tourism receipts on which the rest of the region depends.
