Investment and poverty up in Honduras

Direct foreign investment and poverty have shown growth in Honduras, according to a report by the United Nations.

The report shows foreign investment to Honduras grew 4.4 percent, or $1.05 billion, up to December last year.

However, the country's statistics agency said poverty was up from 62 to 66 percent last year, compared to 2011.
