Investment grade helps to draw $1.66 billion in foreign funds to Panama

Nine months after Fitch Ratings gave Panama investment grade, the impact can be measured in millions of dollars.
Foreign direct investment this year has grown by $189 million compared with 2009.
Through September of this year, foreign direct investment came to $1.66 million, a year-on-year increase of 13 percent, and more than the $1.59 billion of 2008.
