Investment in Panama is not all about secrecy

The Mossack Fonseca leak comes as a reality check for Panama but will not necessarily tarnish the country’s appeal as a major FDI destination in Latin America.

With the multibillion-dollar expansion of the Panama Canal slated to wrap up in June, the country has a chance to find new economic steam despite the fallout of the Panama Papers.
