Investors stand in line for 163 megawatts for Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad

Monday, November 1, 2010

Potential investors in Costa Rican energy projects are standing in line as a signal that the power-outs once bedeviled by the country are now in the past.

A list of 21 hydro and wind projects proposed by the private sector are now being processed by the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad.

Taken together, all the projects would, if realized, generate a total of 163 megawatts.
