It's time to pay up, Panama tells Caracas

Panama is pushing for the repayment of the $1 billion it owes to Venezuela. The last unfruitful meeting on the issue was held in New York, after several other failed attempts.

This time the Panamanian finance minister has told his colleagues in Caracas that Panama would be prepared to accept repayment in oil.
