It’s too soon to know on free trade pacts with Panama and Colombia, says Obama
President Barack Obama said it is too son to know the future of the free trade agreements with Panama and Colombia if the Democrats lose their majority in the Lower House of the US Congress.
“The last time we had a Democratic president and a Lower House controlled by the Republicans, and the Republicans provided a significant number of votes in favor of free trade,” said Obama.
“But it seems clear to me that the Republican Party has the same attitude as it had in the 1990s. It’s too son to know.”
