Iusacell leads Mexico cellular phone growth

Mexico's Iusacell, the cellular phone company controlled by Televisa and Grupo Salinas, lead the Mexican market in 2013 in terms of new line subscription numbers.

At the end of the fourth quarter last year, the company's signed up 23.4 percent more subscribers than in the same period in 2012.

The figure represents 7.49 million new lines, the sector's largest growth rate.
