Jacobson attends Central American security summit

Roberta Jacobson, the US undersecretary for the Western Hemisphere, is attending today's cummit of the Central American Integration System.

The United States is only an observer of the summit but the meeting will center on security in the region, a priority for Washington.

The meeting will also include the signature of the association accord between Central America and the European Union.
