Japan seeks to build Panama's Metro Line 3

The Government of Japan reiterated its interest in building the third line of Panama's Metro system and a new bridge over the Canal.

Japans participation in both projects would be through the Japanese International Cooperation Agency, JICA, Japan's Ambassador to Panama, Hiroaki Isobe, said.

The third line of the Metro is expected to cost $1.8 billion, and will run 21 kilometers, including a new bridge to cross the Panama Canal.
