Japan to help Costa Rica boost geothermal power

JICA, Japan’s development agency, will provide$555 million of debt to develop Costa Rica’s power industry.
The funds will go particularly towards developing geothermal energy.
Las Pailas II, Borinquen I and II geothermal projects will be boosted with the financing, the Costa Rican government said.
