Joe Biden to visit Honduras for summit on crime and drugs with Central American leaders

US Vice-President Joe Biden will travel to Honduras on March 6 to meet with President Porfirio Lobo to discuss US-Honduras relations.

While in Tegucigalpa, Biden will participate in a meeting with Central American presidents, who have been invited to a joint session the Central American Integration System by Lobo.

The issue of crime and security is expected to be one of the main topics of discussion, and specifically the growing support in the area for legalizing drugs as a strategy for reducing violence.
