La Colonia chain of Honduras plans most modern supermarket in Central America

Supermercados La Colonia, a Honduran supermarket chain, is about to open a store for the first time in San Pedro Sula as it aims to expand in the north of the country.

The new store will be opened in the Plaza Pedregal mall in northwester San Pedro. The company says it will be the most modern and spectacular in all of Central America.

Plaza Pedregal will have 20,000 square meters of offices, financial services, restaurants and a Diunsa superstore.
