La Colonia to open region’s biggest supermarket in Honduras

The Honduran supermarket chain La Colonia is to open La Colonia Megaplaza Pedregal in San Pedro Sula this week.

The $25 million Megaplaza will have the largest and most modern supermarket in all Central America, La Colonia claims.

“This will have the most advanced technology of any supermarket in the region,” said Leonel Giannini, La Colonia’s president.
