Lack of transparency affects investment to region

Transparency issues in public spending is affecting foreign investment in the region.
Last year, Central America saw $640 million less in foreign investment, according to experts.
Guatemalan analyst Mariano Rayo Muñoz, said that for every five points Central American countries lose in Transparency International's corruption index, they lose 6.5 percent points in foreign investment attraction.
