Lacoste stakes its shirt on Mexico

Lacoste, the France-based fashion and clothing house, has plans to expand its chain of boutiques and its revenues in Mexico, despite the depreciation of the Mexican currency and growing insecurity.
As part of a mid-term strategy, Lacoste aims to boost its presence just south of the US border, but also at the southern limits of Mexico, around the Costa Maya and Campeche.
