Lafise Bancentro offers $650 million loans in Nicaragua

Lafise Bancentro, a Nicaraguan unit of the Central American bank, announced credits worth $650 million for western Nicaragua's productive sectors.

Of the total, $300 million will go to financing agricultural producers.

Western Nicaragua is one of the country's most productive regions, and is where most of Nicaragua's peanuts, sugar and bananas are harvested.
