Lala breaks Dos Pinos monopoly in Costa Rica

Mexico’s Lala, the biggest dairy producer in Latin America, has joined Fifco, the leading beverages company of Costa Rica, in an effort to break the Dos Pinos near monopoly of milk and dairy products in the country.

Fifco now has a presence in all the supermarkets in Costa Rica, including those of Walmart, where Fifco had problems in placement of its Mú brand of milk.
