Lala takes over Laguna Dairy of US for $246 million

Mexico’s Grupo Lala has surprised the dairy industry over the last two years. First it made two acquisitions in Nicaragua, and early this week it announced the purchase of Laguna Dairy of the US for $246 million.

Analysts say this is a major acqusitition that represents 62 percent of Lala’s current cash in hand.
