Friday, December 16, 2011

Lithuanian prosecutors sent requests to Panama to freeze domestic assets owned by former Bankas Snoras shareholder Vladimir Antonov.

The requests for legal assistance were sent on Dec. 13 though Interpol, the Vilnius-based Prosecutor General’s office said.

Antonov signed an agreement on Nov. 19 to sell his 85.16 percent stake in Banco Trasatlantico in Panama to minority shareholders, all Panamanian, the banking regulator said.
