López Obrador sparks controversy in Mexico

Tuesday, September 18, 2018

Mexico is by no means "bankrupt", the nation's business leaders said in response to a remark by the president-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador.

Claudio González, an eminence gris of the private sector, said the president-elect ought to take care with his vocabulary: "He should have used some other adjective."
